Don Rowley, age 77, of Hot Springs, passed away, Tuesday, January 17, 2017.
He was born in San Pedro, California, the son of, Glenn Fuller Rowley and Lucille Coale Rowley. Don married Diana Vazquez on June 6, 1964, she preceded him in death on November 5, 2005. He is also preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, James Ellis Rowley.
Don was Catholic in his faith and was a United States Air Force veteran. He had a twenty-one-year career as a New York City Police Officer and attained the rank of Lieutenant; he graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1988 and was an Attorney for over twenty years. Don was an avid fisherman and hunter, he really enjoyed his hunting companion, Chief.
Don is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Lori Ann Rowley of Milton, Georgia; his daughter, Anne Marie Rowley of Garrison, New York; three grandchildren, Amanda Rowley, Taylor Rowley and Emily Rowley; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard A. and Debra Rowley of Arroyo Grande, California and Eugene A. and Ellen Rowley of Glendale, Washington; one nephew, Timothy Rowley of Kent, Minnesota; and a host of wonderful friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 21, 2017 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.
